We'll have to admit, of all of his wins (including AOBA Champion and multiple Judges' Choice), this is THE WIN we are most proud of. Here's why...

Ringo's 2012 MAPACA Color Champion fleece (judged by no less than Ursula Munro) was the one he was wearing when he won Fawn Male Color Champion at the 2011 AOBA National Show (under Mike Safely).

MAPACA was an especially big win for Ringo as he had to beat the Color Champion Fawn Fleece, also from 2011 AOBA National's (our RR Rose Fiona --- and anyone who has seen Fiona's fleece, knows how amazing it is).  In fact, at 4 years of age, Fiona was the Color Champion Fawn female at 2012 MAPACA.

Dig this though - Fiona's first offspring (A.L. Paca's Papillon Galaxy) was in the front line competing against her mom Fiona for the MAPACA Color Championship.  The Reserve Fawn Female Color Champion though, was awarded to another one of our Sheer Galaxy daughters (Sheer Bliss).  There's no shame in getting a beat down by Sheer Bliss though.

I know, lots of trivia, but hopefully some fairly interesting stuff.

¨ Reserve Fawn Male Color Champion,  2012 Southern Select Alpaca Show (Level IV,

Jude Anderson). The Color Champion was our A.L. Paca's Centaurus Galaxy.  Ringo, please take our advice --- you need to keep looking over your shoulder to see if Sheer Galaxy offspring are closing the distance.

¨ JUDGE'S CHOICE, 2011 VAOBA Alpaca Expo (Level IV, Babs Manion and Sharon Loner).

¨ Fawn Male Color Champion, 2011 VAOBA Alpaca Expo (Level IV, Sharon Loner).

¨ Fawn Male Color Champion,  2011 Green Mountain Alpaca Fall Spectacular (Level III,

Amanda VandenBosch).

¨ Fawn Male Color Champion, 2011 AOBA National Show (Level V, Mike Safley).

¨ 1st Place and Reserve Fawn Male Color Champion, 2011 Northeast Alpaca Expo (Level IV, Amanda

VandenBosch).

¨ 1st Place, 2011 Futurity (Tim Lavan).

¨ 1st Place, 2011 MAPACA Jubilee (Level V, Jill MacLeod)

¨ Fawn Male Color Champion, 2011 Southern Select (Level III, Amanda VandenBosch).

¨ JUDGE'S CHOICE, 2011 Carolina Alpaca Celebration (Level IV, ~247 males, Wade Gease).

¨ Fawn Male Color Champion, 2011 Carolina Alpaca Celebration (Level IV, ~46 fawn

males, Wade Gease).

¨ 1st Place, 2010 Empire Alpaca Extravaganza (Level V, Amanda VandenBosch)

The Color Champion was A.L. Paca's Helix Galaxy.

¨ 2nd Place & Reserve Fawn Male Color Champion, 2010 VAOBA Alpaca Expo (Level III, Amanda

VandenBosch).

¨ 1st Place & Reserve Fawn Male Color Champion, 2010 AOBA National Show (Level V, 39 fawn

males, Wade Gease).

¨ 1st Place & Reserve Fawn Male Color Champion, 2010 Northeast Alpaca Expo (Level IV, 51 fawn

males, Peter Kennedy). Comments: beautiful young male, extreme fineness; advantage in fineness and staple length all throughout blanket.

¨ Fawn Male Color Champion, 2010 MAPACA Jubilee (Level V, 65 fawn males, Diana Timmerman).

¨ 1st Place/13, 2010 North American Alpaca Show (Level V, Amanda VandenBosch)

¨ 1st Place & Reserve Fawn Male Color Champion, 2010 Southern Select Alpaca Show (Level III, 26

fawn males, Amanda VandenBosch).  This was his first show at 8 months of age.

High frequency, high amplitude, dense, yet extremely fine and long staples decorate this remarkable medium fawn male.  All this on top of a correct frame - the sum of which surely has to be called - "I'll buy a breeding to him"!

Progeny - nothing so far, but we're on pins and needles!  We have breed Ringo extremely well and covered our select Judges' Choice fawn females, multi-champion blacks, browns, greys and even whites with him.  We'll go out on a limb and predict these offspring will be our next step forward (perhaps two steps forward?) in our breeding program - and of course, for those alpacas of our clients.  First crias will be arriving in October 2012 and the first female due for us will be Sheer Elegance (the dam of Sheer Galaxy).

10/23/12 Update: THEY'RE HERE - AND BELIEVE US, THEY'RE GOOD.  White Female, Fawn Female, Brown Male and more in the next month.

Price - $3,000 for drive-by / $3,500 for drop-off / OR...

Breed Now / Pay Later Eligible  Deposit just $500 at time of breeding with remaining balance due at time of the cria's ARI registration.

Co-owned w/ Tuscany Valley Alpacas
