Milky Way was offered at the 2009 Breeder's Edge Auction, Lot #20. She sold for $17,000.

	Never mind brightness in a fleece….or fineness ……or crimp style! None of these are important features for an alpaca. NOT! Duh! These are exactly what are needed to have a successful breeding program and Milky Way possesses all of these characteristics in her fleece. Let’s also note her correctness of frame and you will realize why it is imperative to have this female as part of your herd. Sheer Galaxy’s first crias started hitting the ground in 2008 and each was a welcome surprise. The crias all inherited Sheer Galaxy's same characteristics of fleece brightness and boldly defined crimp. So far only 3 of his crias were old enough to register for the 2009 spring shows but the results were astounding with all 3 doing extremely well - placing at the top of their classes, claiming championships and winning Get of Sire awards for Sheer Galaxy. Milky Way is the first Sheer Galaxy cria to be offered for sale and she will come with a breeding to any of A.L. Paca’s herd sires.

Judge noted that she had the class advantage on fineness.
