So far, Silver Maze has won 8 championship and taken 14 blue ribbons. He has come by his accolades honestly as the son of 9-time champion and 12-time Get of Sire winner, Simba of A.L. Paca's.

Silver Maze is a 2nd generation champion and has an impressive line-up of ancestors with multiple generations of documented, award winning quality.

You really have to get your hands on this alpaca's fleece and see what has the judges so excited! Silver Maze has an excellent balance between density, staple length and hand. His fleece has an advanced high frequency, deeply corrugated architecture. We expect him to bump up grey density while maintaining hand and fineness. Regarding his color - Silver Maze has been color checked as either LSG or LRG at all of his shows. His fleece is primarily composed of white and black fibers (i.e. a silver grey); however, brown fibers are present but they are more difficult to notice due to being more sparse than the black fibers.

Silver Maze was pronounced fertile by semen analysis at just shy of 1 year and 6 months of age.  As he was still so young, we waited untill he was a little older before starting him. His first cria is due mid-April of 2010.

We like this guy's prospects so much that instead of just limiting a first year stud to 3 test breedings to our small pool of production females, so far we have covered 5 of our top females with him. This includes our extremely pre-potent multi-champion producer DFA CoCo, 4-time Champion MKC's Absolute on the Rocks, 2-time Champion Ferrari's Burgundie, and 2-time Champion A.L. Paca's Revlon.  Obviously, we are expecting great things from this stud!
